Continuing Legal Education in Colorado, Inc., has asked Mark Cohen to update the Workplace Violence chapter of The Practitioner’s Guide to Colorado Employment Law, and Mr. Cohen has agreed. Mr. Cohen previously wrote an article on workplace violence published in The Colorado Lawyer, and also gave a presentation on the topic to the Boulder County Bar Association. Mr. Cohen serves on the Board of Directors of DART, Inc. a nonprofit that provides workplace violence prevention training. He has experience drafting and reviewing workplace violence policies. Mr. Cohen believes an understanding of the various laws pertaining to workplace violence is essential for business lawyers and employment lawyers.
